  • Fantastic and flavourful food. The tea is wonderful too. Yunnan province specialties (southern China). I got the spicy beef soup and a lemon ginger tea. Price is good and fair for a filling meal. I think the portion sizes are the same or better as everywhere in country, just the soup alone was a good dinner for me. If I lived in Lucerne I'd come every other week and try the menu for sure.

  • Great food, great tea. They also have a nice tea house area to drink tea. I was surprised to find a tea house specializing in the tea and foods of Yunnan, China, a province on the border with Myanmar and Laos. Pu'er tea is usually pressed into blocks to reduce oxidation as it is aged for years and decades. Pu'er is a microbially fermented tea obtained through the action of molds, bacteria and yeasts on the harvested leaves of the tea plant. Hence it tends to taste like mushrooms, wood, and soil, and smells like a forest after rain.

  • Chanced upon this eatery.. cozy place. Food was yummy, featuring well flavoured yet not too high sodium rice noodles and soups. Recommend the traditional farmer chicken soup in claypot ...

  • The owner is very passionate and friendly, and the staff provide very polite and attentive service. The space is small, but neat and clean. Portions aren’t large, but my steam pot chicken was exceptionally tasty and full of flavour! The dim sum was also quite good. Th homemade plum juice was very authentic and delicious, and the desserts were equally enjoyable. The prices are up there (probably because we’re in Switzerland), but considering the authenticity, quality, and overall experience, I would say it’s worth it.

  • Wow! Such great food! On a cold rainy summer day, it was exactly what we felt like and it tasted very authentic! They were so kind to accomodate our tight schedule!

  • We had the most delicious Yunnan Chinese comfort food from my childhood at this restaurant. The lady boss was friendly and her husband does the cooking in the kitchen. We ordered Hong Shao Rou (Braised Pork Belly) and Free Range Farm Chicken in herbal soup (contains star anise, cloves, goji berries, sliced ginger and some fragrant Chinese wine). Both dishes were so fragrant we even drank up the soup/gravy. The pork belly dish had lots of fragrant crispy shallots. The meat was very tender. So yummy! I am only travelling through Lucerne. If I lived here I would eat here very often. So good!
